Desktop Central 5 and .NET FrameWork Deployment
I would like to be able to deploy any version of the .NET framework on my client computers. I have tried several different ways to make a package and deploy but I get the same failed message from desktop central. Can you please advise on how I should go about deploying either .NET framwork v2.0 or v3.0?

When I try to install manually the DesktopCentral Agent in a Client Computer I this error File Error The following error occured on file, C:\WINDOWS\system32\libxml2.dll. Access is denied (0x5) Also a I download this .dll file on the Client Computer, but I havind the same message error.

Hotfix for Inventory scan issue
We had couple of Inventory Scan related issues reported by customers and here is the solution as a hotfix. Desktop Sharing show incorrect IP Address
I have Desktop Central Version 4 Product Version 4.0.4 Build Number 40402. In Desktop Sharing menu, the client show IP address incorrect, it show the last IP address. After change IP address in the workstation, the desktop sharing show the old ip address. How to resolv this problem? Thanks.

Can you give the forum a status on where the next release is? Our organization is under pressure to begin supporting Vista (32 and 64-bit) and with Desktop Central not ready yet, its becomming more difficult to justify continued expense. I downloaded the trial to test this app out. Installed it and I get to a webpage: http://localhost:8020/configurations.do I use admin as username and password for first login, and it just sits there.... nothing ever happens, not even an error message. What gives?

I am testing the software; I have set up an install to install the windowsdefender.msi on a both per computer and per user basis. The file is in the Inventory. I get an error which says "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package." Is there a reason why it would not install the windowsdefender.msi or is there something wrong with my set up? Thanks

Bloated memory usage. It appears there is a serious memory leak within the application. Just doing simple things such as setting up scheduled patch configurations causes the java.exe runtime to exceed 207MB of memory usage. I hope I am in the right place. My power options properties on my computer, windows xp home sp2, is telling me the ups service is currently stopped. Is this what it should be or is it an error? My computer restarts itself often and i was thinking this could be the reason?
