Installing IBM Rational DOORS
Hi all, According to IBM's website, installing DOORS silently requires this long statement: setup.exe /v"/l*v \"C:\doors_install.log\" /qn INSTALLDIR=\"C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS\" CLIENTDATA=\"12348@servername\" LAPAGREE=\"Yes\" TLLICENSESERVER=\"27000@servername\" I don't think DC is interpreting this properly as when I go to push it out, a user will get a dialog box telling them that the switches are invalid. I can however install this locally on a users machine no problem. Any suggestions?
Intermittent Issue with Remote Control with HTML5 in Chrome
Occasionally while attempting to connect to a remote control session, the connection will close with the error "Web Socket Connection failure. Error: Failed to decompress a compressed WebSocket frame - 1002". It will typically show me the remote machine, but as soon as I move the mouse it will drop with this error. Connecting to the same host using the ActiveX control works fine. I'm sure it's our security software catching something. I just need to know where to look. Thanks!
New behavior issue with Remote Control when switching between View Only using the HTML5 viewer
When remoting into a computer with user confirmations disabled, Remote Control immediately grants access to the machine. This is fine, however, if the operator switches to View Only and then switches back, this message will sometimes appear: This prompt is new as of one or two service pack releases. The largest problem is that there is no prompt shown on the client's end, and the session must be recreated to gain control. Sometimes on the second reconnect, this error will show:

Self enrollment page - Forbidden
When I try to access the self-enrollment page for MDM I get an error saying that its Forbidden and I do not have permission to do so. How do I resolve this error? Thanks!

hello I am new in desktop central manage engine. I need to prohibit some applications that not applicable in my company, what should I do?? I go application control>block executable but it is just reporting and I can not configure it such as add new applications or delete applications or etc. my central engine is 10 version. would u please help me? do u have any document about the configuration?
Database Patch Management
Hi all, i would like to know if it possible to populate a database repository, doing a manual download of the patches I need away from the platform. The reason why it's about a particular customer who has an extremely slow data connection, I have to filter and lock automatic updates because there is no sufficient bandwith for the whole lan network. At my office I tried to download all the patches I needed, depending on kb code showed as "to be downloaded" and put into the repository path to the customer's.
Prohibited Software still showing in inventory. HELP
Hello. There is a piece of prohibited software that is still showing on two different machines. This software is the "Ask Toolbar Updater". I have removed all files and registry keys that I can find but Manage Engine is still finding it somewhere. Is there anyway that I can see where Manage Engine is picking it up at? Thank you!

How do I delete App Catalog from my iPhone?
A few days ago an App Catalog icon appeared on my phone. I don't recall ever installing App Catalog. I have checked through my list of apps on iTunes but it is not listed. I can't delete the app. I am not part of an enterprise network - I am an individual. At first, the app just showed a white page with a 404, but now it finally loaded to say something about manageengine. So I Googled and found this site. Please explain how to remove it and also how it might have ended up on my phone. Thanks

Hello, our company will be using Office 2016 in two ways of licensing: 25Users will get Office 2016 Suite and 25 users will get an Office 365 Account incl. right for desktop app use. So now I am wondering whether I can deploy one Office 2016 Package for all PCs? I already tried with a Office 2016 Suite, after first start I can add a license key or say "activate by account". The Problem is: When I login with my account the activation menu says, that only Office 365 (E3) is licensed, there is no license

Post Deployment To Run .exe
I am trying to install a program via desktop central and I would like to execute the installed software post deployment. I have tried doing this several ways and I am unable to get it to work via desktop central. I was however able to open a command prompt and run the executable with the following command "C:\Program Files\Cirrato Technologies\Cirrato Client\CirratoClient.exe" . Below is the argument I am using. what am I doing wrong?
Not able to login to Desktop Central
Dear ALL, We are unable to login to Desktop Central Server today. No changes were done in the environment. Any of you facing similar issue? We have noticed Desktop Central is not so stable. There is a ticket opened with support. But they are extremely slow in responding and taking ownership of the issue and calls are not attended most of the time.

I am looking at this software to replace our Dell Kace appliance. While I like quite a few of the options a question I have that I cannot seem to find an answer to is can I install the Desktop Central Agent using a SCCM task sequence install? Setup DesktopCentral Distribution Server without domain admin rights
So we're trialing DesktopCentral, and the product is fantastic until I ran into this issue when trying to setup a remote office distribution point on a candidate machine. I was promptly halted by the install wizard with it stating "it must have domain admin to perform this action." Why? Assume that the account that desktop central is using has local admin on any machine I would be deploying the distribution servers to, and any workstations that would be deployed to. Disable android device screen timeout
I am deploying Samsung tablets for a truck tracking system and I am locking these tablets down and setting them to Kiosk mode. Is there a way to disable the lock screen timeout so the screen stays on all the time? These tablets are permanently mounted and constantly powered by hardwired vehicle power and the screen timeout is becoming an issue for the drivers. There is no need for the screen to timeout in this situation and should be on all the time. Thank you

I got a newsletter stating the newest hotfix is verison 10.0.45. but when i go to download the latest hotfix I only see the download for build 10.0.30. where can I download this hotfix?

I have a requirement to export a csv report with the following fields Computer Name Service Tag IP Address Operating System Service Pack Build Last Boot Time Last Scan Time Shipping Date Warranty Expiry Date Agent Version Last Successful Scan Within reports I have the option to select all but Build. I know this is recorded as within Inventory I have dc.common.BUILD_NO but it's not an option within custom reports. any ideas. Also is it possible to add to this report 'Agent Status'? Stephen Fowles

Add my own package in software deployment fails will not add package
I am trialing Desktop Central, have an issue I have my own SAP install package i want to install. I create a package add the files and details to run the .exe. no errors in the add package form when i click Add Package nothing happens, and i mean nothing no errors no please wait or timer nothing at all. I only seem to be able to add packages from the template library. Does desktop central not support using your own .exe files (not from template library or am I doing this wrong?
Multiple Software Repositorys (remote locations)

When deploying packages we copy each package on their local server so when our users need software the install does not take long. User's full name visible to computer listing columns
Currently Desktop Central can show currently logged in user information in all computers view (when you add the column). There should be a way to get also user's displayname. This is not possible with current 10 version of Desktop Central MSP or is it?
Fully Customizable Dashboard
I raised this topic before but not sure if there is any progress made yet. Could Desktop Central work toward providing fully customizable Dashboard?
