Update 10.0.82 quark
I recently upgraded Desktop Central from 10.0.56 to 10.0.82 and noticed that in Google Chrome, the computer details under the inventory does not display. I have tired other browsers and the information is displayed correctly. Has anyone else run into this issue? I have no issue using a different web browser, but find it odd that IE and Firefox display the content correctly. Thanks, Jason
Agent Live Status
I am currently in the process of cleaning up my companies inventory in DC. I have roughly 73 machines that the "Agent Live Status" is reading as "down", or "Unknown" However, a lot of these machines have a last contact time of that day or some other time for any given week. I have tried to do an uninstall and then an install as this has worked in the past to reinstall the agent on a PC that I know is talking to the server. My question to the community is this. Post Upgrade to 10.0.70
We recently upgraded our DC Server build to 10.0.70. Everything appeared to go well, except I noticed (via our Netflow monitor) that our domain controllers started sending data to computers with the DC agent installed in increments of 73 MB throughout the day. If I stop the DC server service, the domain controllers stop doing this. And as soon as I start the service again, it starts to do this again. Created By field is incorrect
While submitting a ticket using the Desktop Central icon in the system tray, almost all of the tickets are stating they were created by one specific person. When I do into ServiceDesk and open the ticket, I look in the Request Details section, the created by field is always the same person even though they didn't create the ticket. Create Support File - Cannot add Client-Logfiles
I need to report a problem with several clients so i wanted to use the option "Create Support File" to directly upload my server and client logfiles. However, if I choose clients, the selection windows opens and will only show "Local Office", I cannot select my domain because it doesn't show up! What can I do? I am running on Version 10.0.54.

Custom Report - Admin Users & Groups by Server
I found a report from last year here in the forums and modified slightly. I want to show both users & groups within the administrators group. Right now this report only shows users, but not the sub-groups. How do I add those as we manage many of our servers by ad domain groups. Exlude device from Network Scan
hi I have multiple computers that show up on my failed scan list. I would like to be able to exclude them from the future scan. Is it possible to excluded certain devices (by devices Name or the IP Address ) from being scanned ? already saw this Admin->Windows Domain Scan/Network Scan and also from Admin->Scan Settings but cannot find it in my system. Patching highly mobile devices
Ok, I have one for you. In DTC we have a hard time patching the PD Officer tablets, they are constantly on and off the network. So much so that some patches fail and others will not install because of the failed patch. Do they have a suggestion on patching highly mobile devices. Can an Officer dock the tablet and request a scan from the device and not have to wait for the server to run its 90 minute cycle? Patch automation status lost
I am trying to use the Patch Automation feature. I scheduled a time, and my machines started to scan, although it seemed like they were going one at a time. Realizing how long it was taking, I decided to modify my configuration so it started earlier next week. After saving, however, I fully lost the in-progress patch task. When i click on the task, it just shows me blank info stating it will fill up next week. What happened to the in-progress patch task? Was it cancelled? is it still going but
Not finding Remote Event Viewer after update
I updated from Desktop Central MSP 10.0.0.47 to 10.0.0.56 excited to get the Remote event viewer feature finally. To my my dismay I'm still not seeing it at all on the System Manager. Hi Where we can set Agent setting to communicate DC correctly. We use Central DC server for clients within LAN AD and for travelling users. We use DNS records pointed to DC server for internal domain and external. However - I have a real problem with how these alerts "look" (in Outlook 2016 etc) especially the "from" when the emails get sent from Desktop Central to an email address I have set up. I have the following problem: I run patch tasks per APD once per month: 1x for testgroup and 2 weeks later 1x for all productive systems when no errors occured. My problem: Last week I deployed the latest Chrome version to my testgroup. Now I see that few days later Desktop Central has replaced this version I was just testing and which I want to go "live" next week. This is now impossible for me. Menu bar doesn't look right after 10.0.5 upgrade and 10.0.56 patch
After doing the update to 10.0.5 the top menu bar (Home, Configuration, Patch Mgt, Software Deployment) isn't displaying correctly. I've verified the issue is happening in IE, Chrom and Firefox). I've attempted to add a screen shot to this posting. To me it looks like the buttons are a little too big to fit in the space and Shouldn't the graphic show Desktop Central 10 since it's version 10? DC Server went down
Hello, I came into work today to my DC server being down. I logged into the server and restarted the service for the server and that did nothing. On a regular office work station it will load to the log in screen but will not let you log in. So, I did some digging and found that there was a hotfix made available recently. Configuration Manager - IP Printer - Windows 10
Hello, In my environment we do not have a domain so I use a configuration to deploy printers by IP. It worked great for XP and 7 however now that I'm moving to Window 10 I'm having issues. With Windows 10 I receive the error: "Device Drivers Installation Failed: No mapping between accounts names and security IDs was done." I've tried just about everything I can find in forums with no luck. The script runs fine on a Windows 7 PC. Any thoughts? Greg

Hi Could someone please explain to me why I've just received an email telling me 10.0.56 is available but when I come to install it I get the "Currently not compatible with your network" message. I understand the reasons why latest releases are not available to larger installations. Hi, We try to push a default company homepage link to all our users browser (IE, Chrome & Firefox), but we got a problem on which the proxy port change from 8080 (our proxy port) into port 80 in all of the browsers while we only change the home page section and leave others option into "preserve client setting". Another problem is when we try to change the 80 port back into 8080 in Firefox, the change can't be permanent, even we close and reopen Firefox, it keeps show port 80. Any idea how to accomplish
Software version column in computer with/without specific software
I was creating a report to show me computer with a specific software and noticed that I can not display the software version. I run the report for multiple version of one software and it would be nice to see which version the computer in the report has. I can try and do this through custom report but the problem with that is that it list the same computer multiple times thus even though it only installed on maybe 10 computers the report list over thousand lines. I can filter this out in excel but
Multi PC Report Issue
I am trying to run a report with two specific search criteria's. I am trying to find the total number of computers between 2 different OU's. When I enter in the criteria's and everything else that I want it doesn't come up with a single machine in the report. I've tried several different combinations and options and nothing has worked. I've noticed the execution status under Inventory/Block Executable clears itself out after a certain period of time (leaving us no history of machines that it has successfully applied to). The policies created there also don't appear under the configurations section. Is there another way to pull this data, perhaps by a query report? Thanks, Jeff
Fetching warranty for HP computer
We use a lot of Hp computers and would be nice to see the warranty status. If I try to scan it I get the below. As per HP's policy, we are unable to continue fetching warranty information. While we explore alternate options, you can manually import the warranty details of HP Computers. Just wondering if this will ever be supported for hp computers?
Desktop Central Service Not Starting
