Issue with HTML5 viewer in Chrome/Insecure Ciphers
We're running into an issue launching the HTML5 viewer in Chrome 48, where upon launching a session we see this error: Secure Web Socket Connection (https:\\) to server failed. Please add the Server's certificate to browser's exception list. There is then an "Add Exception" button that attempts to bring up our server URL with :8081, assumingly to show the certificate and allow us to add it. This brings us to a Chrome error page stating: "This Webpage is Not Available ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH"
Software uninstall Messages by the hundreds for a single machine
Hi, I have seen this more often recently: When a Mac Workstation hasn´t been started for a few days and is being started again, DC bombards me with literally hundreds of mails for uninstalled Software. A) the Software still remains where it was (e.g. Parallels Mounter v9.0) B) the Version of the Software has not changed (e.g. Parallels Mounter v9.0 is claimed to be uninstalled, however the same version from 2014 is still in it´s place) can you give me a hint as to what my configuration is doing wrong

How to determine if a specific configuration has been applied to specific computer
Currently the only way to see which configurations have been applied to a specific PC is to look at the Execution Status for each Configuration. I would like know if there is a way to look (from the user and/or PC perspective) what has been applied for that PC/user)
Way to report on successful WoL and Shutdown requests in a report
We need to be able to show to auditors that our PC's are shutting down at night. Is there a way in report form to show which PC's shut down successfully due to a shutdown request from DC, vs those that didn't shut down?
Would like to group Configurations into folders or a folder hierarchy
All of the configurations are now bunched together in a big list. I would like to be able to graphically group them to categorize those that I apply to all PC's vs those I use on occasion for specific settings on specific groups.

Hello, it seems like whenever I try to push a script to somebody, and it doesn't matter if it's a batch file or VBScript, it never makes the change to the registry. Desktop Central integration with Service Desk Plus
Hello there, we have configured our Desktop Central and Service Desk Plus servers as described on page https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/help/configuring_desktop_central/dc_sdp_integration.html The connection test in SD runs successfully and does not report errors. Nevertheless, no asset data is posted from DC to SD, or at least no asset data is updated on the SD side. We are running SD build 9118 and DC build 91099. Any idea of what is going wrong? After 9.0.1.110 update agent are not updating. Log on client show this error : "MSI (s) (84:F8) [19:27:20:725]: Windows Installer installed the product. Patch automation
Hello, I'm wonder if there is a way I can automate patch deployment for certain patches, for example, Firfox,Skype, the ones do not require restart. For others which require restart, like system patches, I can still deploy them manually (with DC) on the same machines? Thanks, Zahid
Issue with Patch Summary
Why does the patch deployment report show failed clients when all the patches have been deployed? Is this a system bug of some sort? When I click on the individual machine it shows no additional patches to be deployed. See Attached Picture

Is it possible to have certain popup notifications created for the following: 1. Alert during day to inform user to leave there PC on so maintenance can be performed after hours. 2. Alert after maintenance or windows patches done - informing user that the job was done (this shows our employees we are doing something ) 3. Microsoft Update KB3114409
Good Morning, There was a problem with the update for Microsoft Outlook 2010 which you are probably aware of by now. Outlook will only open in Safe Mode and I am getting hounded by the end users. Is there a fix or another update that will be sent to correct the problem? I also did a search for the update to uninstall it and I am not able to find it. Ed
Re-Create CSR
Hey guys, So we're planning on testing MDM (just bought the license for it) to manage our mobile ios devices. Problem is when we generated our CSR, we used a corporate email like suggested, it happened to be the same one that also generates helpdesk tickets in servicedesk plus (woops). So our helpdesk and desktop centrals automated messages were in an infinite loop briefly generating tickets for each other after the creation email. Obviously don't want this to happen again, I've disabled notifications

Patch Management: DesktopCentral VS other tools
To other desktop central users - how do you find DesktopCentral's patch support? To me, it seems to be missing a lot of patches - not only Office 2016 but others as well. This morning I updated Desktop Central and did a scan on my computer. It identifies two patches needed. I then scanned with a different tool, and found 66 patches needed. While it is worth noting that many of these are Office 2016, there are many which are not. For reference, I then scanned with Windows Update, which found 30 updates,

Software failing to install
I am attempting to deploy some software out and I receive this message: Could not connect the share from the client computer : The specified network name is no longer available I am unsure of the problem. I was able to successfully deploy this same software a couple of weeks ago to another computer. The strange thing is it looks like part of the install occurred. Exported Vulnerability Report Include System Health Graph
On the Reports tab, Patch Reports > Vulnerable System Report, when clicking Export PDF, is there a way to include the System Health Graph. The graph is a great overview so that a business owner can see at a glance that no systems are vulnerable without looking at the details. So, I would really like that graph on the report. When I export the report to PDF, I am only getting the Healthy Systems table.

Desktop Central local Admin account
I would like to know about deleting the local admin account. Is it best practice to delete the account or keep the account? I have kept the account due to concerns with Active Directory Authentication. We did have an issue where we could not authenticate and having the account allowed me to login to Desktop Central.
Desktop Central HTML 5 Viewer
Myself and a few of my coworkers are having remote control problems with the HTML5 Viewer. We have had to remote numerous times to the same machine. The viewer will not connect and displays message "Agent not Reachable" or it will go back to status of "disconnected". I have tried rebooting the client machines and the server. Neither worked, and we are still experiencing the problem. Some machines after trying to connect 7 or 8 times it will finally connect but then after a minute or 2 the session

Custom Script return code to update Configuration Status
When I deploy a Custom Script to run on start-up can I return a success/fail code that Desktop Central will use to update the status of Configuration? For instance, the script I have deployed runs on start-up, the Configuration status shows Sucess, but the script encountered errors during the process and I want to show failure as the status.

The login page for DTC is telling me to update to 91099 but when I check my server version 91099 is installed. The windows clients say 90198?? Is this correct.. Thanks, b
corrupted rar file
i was extracting a rar file from dvd and suddenly everything stopped working, i took out the dvd and try to delete that file but not responding windows explorer appeared and desktop refreshes everytime

Disable other DC Agent Tray Icon Options
Is there a way to disable the View Logon Reports or at least limit them to that machine only? Currently I can only turn off Apply Config, Scan and Upload Patch or Inventory Details. We do not want other users knowing when other systems are logged into or out of, but turning off the Tray Icon alltogether seems to be the only other way... we actually would like the exact opposite...
