How to disable "New software is Available" notification?
I need to sometimes use "Allow User to interact with the installation/uninstallation Windows setting" when deploying software to computers. Everytime I use that setting I get this shown to user before the deployment starts. How can I disable this notification? Deployment settings configured like this:

Hello Everyone, I have build no 91113 for Desktop Central and trying to upgrade to the latest service pack 92000. I have stopped all services but now when installing i get the error " Postgres DB migration failed. The action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program. close the folder or file and try again. I have nothing open and i verified through task manager. disable windows update locally
I saw it and ill be darned if i can find it again. However i saw where i can block users from using windows update locally on their computers using security settings in DTC but i cant find that setting in DTC. Mind pointing me in the correct direction? I thought it was under configurations > security policy > user> but i cant find it.. I am pretty sure i am just looking past it. Thanks!!!

Remote Control will not connect successfully.
I just upgraded Desktop Central last week to Build 92029. The Remote Control (HTML 5) which was working great is now not connecting and stays at loading or when I click connect it will go back to connecting and then will just hang.This is urgent since the majority of the computers we use are remote and now cannot connect to.
icon upgrade to Windows 10
On computers with Windows 7, we have the icon upgrade to Windows 10. It is possible with Central Desktop, remove this notification ??

Which report should I run?
I have set up Custom Groups (Admin > Custom Groups) based on OU from Active Directory. For example: UK-Marketing UK-Sales UK-HR etc It has assigned the machines using SoM, so each custom group only contains the machines in that department. I will then bee using Self Service Portal to assign only software each department use. For example, UK-Marketing will need Software1 and Software2 but the other departments won't, however, I need to run a report for the machines in UK-Marketing to show what software

Custom Scheduled Patch Report
Need to simply create a report showing the following columns and scheduled to run daily. Im in change of a set of computers and want a report tailored to my computers, showing the following columns, computer name being filtered to a handful of computers, not all. computer name | last boot time | disk free | number of missing patches Cant find a built in report or query that can give me these results. Patches needed but not showing in Desktop Central
I have a server(s) that report in Desktop Central that they need only 3 updates. When I check if the machine needs update locally (Windows Update) the server needs 21 update. I have updated the Patch DB everyday and reran the patch scan on the server. Still nothing changes. The updates that are needed are a week old. I search for a few of the missing updates in Desktop Central "All Patches", example 3098785 and 3134222, and they are not listed in "All Patches" Please advise

Access to Custom Groups for Remote Office Admins
I have a situation where we have administrators for certain Remote Offices, they only manage that remote office and nothing else. These remote offices need access to certain custom groups, when they log in they can see the Remote Office and machines for that RO (as expected) but do not have access to the custom groups in the drop down list (see picture) I have created an account to test with and assigned it admin privileges to a remote office. Our system is completely non-AD. We need to know if it is possible to run a report that will list the computer name, user login, and last login time. If possible, we would also couid make good use of last password change time. Is this possible in DC? if so, how. Will it require a SQL query? MIke
Profile Failed to Install
Trying to enroll an iPad in Desktop Central 8 and when I go to install the MDM profile, I'm getting a "Profile Failed to Install - The profile "MDM Profile" could not be installed. I've rebooted the ipad, nothing helps. Any ideas?

Please explain.... service.exe executes dcconfig.exe executes cmd.exe executes reg.exe reg.exe then creates a binary file in c:\program files\desktopcentral_agent\logs called "dcagent.reg" It appears you are pulling down the registry values for your agent as a backup or as documentation for support (if needed). Please confirm. Also, is there any way to stop this? We are trying to tighten down reg.exe.

Desktop Central - Desire to manage computers by domain

Domain information in task is truncated
In tools/Remote Shutdown/Modify Task, the PC list turncates some of the Domains and puts "..." at the end. I have imported the data into an Excel Spreadsheet and need the full Domain Name. Is there a way to have the full domain name listed? See example shown below::
Report to show Agent Version
I am looking for a report which will show me the agent version which is installed on each machine, however looking in the Reports section, there doesn't seem to be one. I have also checked the Custom Reports and cannot see anything there either. I want to ensure all machines are using the most up to date version of the client. Thanks
Software Deployment is stuck on "In Progress" status for several hours
Hello, I've reached out to Desktop Central's support team about this issue several times already, but they can't seem to find a solution for my issue. I am using Desktop Central 9 build #92035, I've been attempting to deploy .exe files from our software repository on several client agents and they all seem to get stuck on the "In Progress" status for several hours before I eventually cancel the task. So far, on the client machine I've tried a manual silent install of the .exe file via command prompt

Wake On LAN Report
Is there a way to run a report to identify those computers we have on our network that are not WOL enabled? From my understandining in order to push a patch to those computers turned off we can do the WOL option, but only on computers that have this enabled. I was hoping I could identify those that are enabled or those that are not enabled. We could then go and turn the WOL on the computers needed from a list instead of touching every computer in our network. Thanks, Rita

All Patches view: How to save filter criteria?
We use DC to deploy only third-party patches (Java, Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash and Mozilla Firefox) - we use WSUS to deploy MS patches. So I don't need to see all available patches in Patch Mgmt / All Patches view. So, I use a filter "patch type" equal "third party update". Some DC versions ago DC remembered such a filter when I go back to the All Patches view. But now, I have to set the filter again and again when I use the All Patches view. I recognize that opmanager can monitor and alert on diskspace usage. But as desktops all have the DTC agent, and DTC does have disk usage recorded, is there a way I can alert based on disk usage in Desktop Central? If so how? Machines are not being patched
Several issues here and we are at a loss of why this is happening. So, automated patch manager is not pushing windows patches (but 3rd party seems to work). According to the reports, the scanned machines have no windows patches needed, but on the machines themselves they are showing 30+ patches that need to be installed. Event after two weeks of the patch manager running nightly, the same machines are still not being patched. * Machines are on during patch time * Machines are part of the target list

My company just started using Desktop Central (this month) and I'm wondering what would be the best way to upgrade multiple different versions of Adobe Flash? It appears they now have an update to prevent Ransomeware and we'd like to get everyone upgraded. If I push down the latest patch will that automatically upgrade older versions or do I need to setup and upgrade path for all the older versions first? We've never been able to upgrades like this in the past so we have a wide range of versions

Baseline Patch Configs
Can anyone suggest a recommended method to create a Baseline Patch Configuration. My purpose is that it would be catchall for all approved patches that are production environment approved. It is a task that I would want to run on newly imaged PCs as well as something that is run weekly on all corporate workstations to ensure they are patched up to date. Any advice would be great. Silent Agent Deploy via Script
I'm look for some help creating a script to install the desktop central agent. The script will run as part of the Windows Deployment Toolkit task sequence once after the reference image has been applied so it will not be generalized. Would I be able to use msiexec to run the windows installer and mst? Thanks in advance.

Is the desktop central agent suppose to be installed on the server or is the server not suppose to manage itself?
Inventory Scanning not occurring since update to Build 92029
I have not had any updates on the inventory of any of the 700+ computers I have running Desktop Central since I updated the Build on Friday. No other changes to the system have been made since updating the Server build
Inventory tab not updating since apply build update last week.
I applied the build patch on Friday and Inventory page has not refreshed since. I can loo at recently installed software report and it show it there, but the computer audit summary and 5 most recent software changes have not updated or changed since the patch was applied to the server.
