Customize LDAP attributes
Can the customize LDAP attributes be used to create a "home drive" attribute in a report that that is not an option in the available attributes box? If so how do I do this? I ran a "users never logged on" report but I also wanted to see if they have home drives attached to their account. Thanks for your help
AppManager doesn't run on Linux (OpenVZ)

APPMANAGER 10 - Sap Server Monitor
Hi Friends, I want to add a SAP Server monitor in my costumer AppManager 10 and the following Fields to fill: Display Name Hostname / IP Address Subnet Mask Logon Client System Number Language Polling Interval User name Password I'd like to know what is or how I know the Logon Client and System Number values to put it in. Removing Server Entries
We user Applications Manager to monitor all of the servers at a customer site and us an agent installed on one of those servers to sent this information back to our main console. The customer is going away so we removed the agent and uninstalled it. I am unable to find a way to remove the customer's servers from being monitored in the main console, so I need to know how I can do that. We are using Applications Manager 10. Thanks! Winston

Hi, I have to get report Down Time Summary per month for selected monitors...(Admin>Enable Reports>Down Time Summary Reports) Please see the below pictures.. About Disk Utilization of a Window 2003 Monitor
Hi Support, It seems that if a single partition is larger than 1TB is not able to detect by Application Manager ? As in most of the monitor the Disk Utilization can show the detail while for those monitor where the partition is larger than 1TB, Disk Utilization show : "No data available to generate graph" just want to know whether it is a known issue or anything else needed to do in order to show it out . Ping monitor is always is up

Email alert information
Hi, We are facing an interesting issue with the the body of the messages generated with alerts. We need to know the Root Cause of the issue. There is a variable that has this information, but given the way we have our system configured, the contents isn't what we need. We have a group that has several monitors. Monitoring Applications, not server downtime
I’ve been configuring application subgroups. However I come into trouble with my alarms and what they actually mean. For example, the health of my servers is always in a warning state because it reports warnings for alarms such as this: Health of CDM Index Servers is warning. No action on SNMP trap lisner
I have created an SNMP trap lisner in Appl Manager. (The OID i'm lisning for is .1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.159.201.1.3.1 - an IBM Director test trap). I have also created an action: sending an mail to myself. When i test this action i get an e-mail, so it works ! In the SNMP trap lisner have i associated the mail action. But when i send the SNMP trap from my IBM Director, the (email)action NOT executed. I know i receive the trap correctly, because i can see the trap in the alarm page as an "Configured trap".

Execute program, pass tag to variable
Hi, I created a execute program alarm: LogserviceRequest.cmd "$MONITORNAME" But once I`m tryin to pass the variable to the batch file, for example with "set arg1=%1", arg1 isn't containing any value. Execute program, pass tag to script variable
I'm executing an Action of type 'Execute Program' which calls a perl script. This works ok. example: action: LogServiceRequest "$MONITORNAME" The problem is that i can't pass any tags to a variable in the perl script (for example $monitorname = $ARGV[0];) When I execute the perl script manually, and specify arguments (fe monitorname), then the arguments are passed correctly to the variable within the perl script. I am working with an AppManager installation (10030) that is monitoring a Windows machine and a MSSQL server. I had not removed the sample monitors (Tomcat, portmonitor, etc) that are created during the initial install. So there were a total of 7 ( I believe) monitors defined. Windows Event Logs
I see that AppManager can pull data from the Windows Event Logs. Does this process actually pull the events from the event log and make them searchable? If they are pulled, how are they stored in AppManager? For the Event Logs to stand up in a court of law, they must be stored in binary format. Monitor Oracle Application Server Application
I created a new oc4j application container called "TestMonitor" on my OAS server to test the WTA. When I was done testing, I deleted the application from OAS. Now, my OAS monitor says that it is in a critical condition because the "TestMonitor" application is down. Yep, it's down... because I deleted it. How do I clear that application out of the monitor? Hi, I'm getting this error with a URL monitor, I can open a browser and browse this page with no issues. I'm guessing it's something to do with the SSL certificate. How can I troubleshoot this ? ORA-28000: the account is locked
I'm using ManageEngine Application Manager 10 build 10100, whenever I try to connect to my Oracle Database 10 I'm facing ORA-28000: the account is locked message. Weird part is it works fine on my Oracle Database 7.3.4. I'm pretty sure my Oracle 10 system account did not locked, as on another monitor tool Quest Sportlight running fine to capture Oracle 10 status. Any idea/solution on Application Manager? Thanks.

Adding an Apache Monitor Displays as an IIS Monitor
I have attempted to add 9 Apache monitors, but for 2 of them, they always display as IIS servers. Why? How do I get them to display as Apache servers? I choose Apache, and enter the same settings as the others, but they still will not display as Apache. Thanks, Kris
