Hello, Sorry if this has been asked in the past before, but I was not able to find an answer. What does this really do? I have connected SelfService Plus with ADManager Plus and still can't figure what it does. Thanks
Password - can change it to same password?
I have been testing Self Service to see if we will be able to use the product in our environment to allow users to change their password. During the testing I found that users can change their password to the same exact password in AdManager Self Service. Do you know if there is a fix for this?
Changes to Dial-In Tab once enrolled
We have discovered this little tib it. We have been having an issue with users not being able to VPN into the network. In our environment, it is controlled by A.D. Normally on the Dial-in tab, our users are set to "Control access via Remote Access Policy". However, we have seen users get reset to "Deny Access" on this tab once they enroll into ADSelf Service. Has anyone else ever seen this? One fix we can do is set a GPO (which we will do) but are there any other fixes out there?
Enrollment
I just install ADSelfService Plus.I have a doubt.How to set enrolled user?or don't have this feature in build 4003. and some features that I'm testing don't work such as schedule report,enrollment,custom attribute or I'm wrong.
Error reseting password - Unknown table name specified
Just downloaded and installed both ADManager and ADSelfService, and both running on same test server which is in the domain. Both appear to be configured and generally working. However when I try the FORGOT PASSWORD option on ADSelfService the process fails after asking the secret questions with the error Error while performing the action : Unknown table name specified CCPH_INT_Users User as enrolled by going to the site and logging in and setting the questions. What part of the setup have I missed,

How to apply SSL Certificate

General Slowness?
In the testing phase of AdManager Self Service when a user first logs in we are seeing an extreme slowness in AdManager each time a change is made. The system will delay 1-2 minutes before any submissions are excepted. Have other people experienced this issue?
Resource Forest Capability
Hi I use an Exchange 2003 Resource Forest and want to give my users the possibility to let them update their personal information. So, the Users don't log on with the AD account, they log on with the assosiated external account.. Is this possible? Thanks and regards, Tom
New AD User initial connection
I am currently testing out the Demo of ADManager plus and ADSelfService PLus for use in our facility. I ran into an issue with adding a new user and setting the user to require a password change at next login. When I run the Selfservice application and try to connect as the new user in order to set the new password it tells me the username/password is incorrect. If I uncheck that setting in AD I the user logs in without issue. How can I set that so the user can be given an initial temporary password
Password Complexity
We have not configured AdSelfService yet and are still researching its capabilities. Within the Admin section, are we able to set password complexity that user's must adhere to? For example, create a rule that says all users must have a 10 character password with a mix of letters and numbers?
Scheduled reports
Hi, I would like to schedule different reports and send them to a group for control. I saw scheduled report but I can only set that for one type of report so I cannot set for differents type of report such as password expired soon + Password expired + others..... We have 2 groups which are in charge to control password activities and they want to get those reports on daily basis for each of type of report. Can you tell me how to do that ? Regards Philippe

Security retriction
Hi, We have 2 groups reponsible to check password activities and for them I would to delegate without have need to give admin account and password. Code 5 Updaing AD information
A user gets the error code 5 when they try to update their AD informaiton. What does this mean?
Reset password -New User
Hi, We are using ADSelfService. When a new user has never entered a terminal service with his account, the reset system does not work, it does not show anything when he tries to reset his password; ADSelfService simply sends him to Home page. Change OU
Does this tool allow users to change their own OU? We have a very fluid and mobile workforce and it is a major headache keeping track of their current location. If we can pass this job to the users it would make everyones lives easier.

Does ADSelfService plus and ADmanagerPlus support Safari? If not, do you plan on supporting and when. Thanks
group password reset on AD OU

Manager field
Hi I have installed and like what I see so far but have a problem that users cannot see the manager field although it is checked in the selection fields. We are looking for a solution where HR can update the AD with details.
Database customization
We would like to auto-enroll all of our AD users using their social security number and employee id as their verification questions. We could do this pretty easily if we could customize the database connection to use an existing mysql instance. Is there a way to do this?
Disabled Accounts
In testing the product I have noticed that once a user is enrolled and then later has their account disabled it still counts against the active number of enrolled users which means that the account takes up a license. Is there a way to unlink the two so that once an account is disabled it no longer takes up a user account in adselfservice without having to entirely delete the account?
Enrolled Users
Hi, I have just installed ADSelf Service.. I would like to know, how do I check to see which users have been Enrolled. From the Dashboard, I can see Number of Users: 2, but I cannot see who they are.. FYI: Please don't tell me that the request feature will be available in a future release..
