ADManager Plus and ServiceDesk Plus Integration
Hi, I have a question about ADMP and SDP Integration. We would like to give our HR team possibility to create requests for new users (Single User Creation) in ServiceDesk Plus. On forum i have found topic, where you can create User in AD from ServiceDesk can we do this for Requests? The goal is to give the possibility to create request for the HR department and execute this request through our technician in ADManager Plus.
Creation Rules do not run after using a template with creation rules set
I have just tested the creation rules for a user creation template. When specifying the field that it looks for in the creation rule. It doesn't seem like the rule is being run at all. I have a rule to assign group membership, Department and office field if the Department number is xx-xxxxxxxx but no luck. Any one have this working for them?
Automation for filling blank attributes
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to use ADManager Plus to create some kind of automation tasks to look for users with a blank attribute and then populate it with a certain string. For example - we're going to have new user accounts created in AD by a cloud based HR system (via our ID - Okta) - but it cannot populate the Log-on Script via this provisioning process. I'm creating rules for my user creation template and the Condition is based on a department number field. I'm looking to set the department name and office name(same as department) in the assign values after the condition is checked. How can I define mandatory fields in AD Manager user creation templates? There is already "First Name" defined as mandatory, how can I define a field as mandatory myself?

Hi, I'm wondering if there is a way to customize the User templates so we can add / remove fields that are relevant. Additionally, is it possible to have any sort of if-then logic built into the template or user-account creation process. For example: I select a template and fill out say, the department information. Based on that department selection information, it drops the user object into a certain OU based on what the tech selected.

I would like to report from the perspective of a particular group on all the folders they have permissions to. I can see where I can do that for a specific share, but I would like to be able to request multiple shares or a whole server. Is this possible?
Suspend Google Apps accounts
I have User creation set to provision an account in both AD and Google Apps when a new user is created in ADManagerPlus. That process works well. Is there a way to go the other way as well? To suspend the google apps account when I disable the linked AD account?
Removing High Availability from
Good Afternoon, I receive an error, when I try to remove the HA config on the primary server. It is stating that I need to remove the configuration from the secondary server. I am unable to load the secondary server's AD Manager, even when the primary server's service is down. I wanted to start from scratch on the high availability configuration, since we have been having issues with the HA and AD Manager. Sorting Creation Rules
I'm wondering if there would be a way to sort the creation rules in Alphabetical Order? I have over 200 creation rules in place and have created them in alphabetical order. However, it seems that some rules have moved and they are no longer in order. Any idea on how to change it back to having them in order from A-->Z? Thanks.

I would like to produce a report containing nested members of the local administrators group on a specific computer. If there are any AD user accounts or AD security groups which are members of the local admnistrators group, those should be listed in the report. In AD Mgmt Tab, I click on Contact Management, then choose Modify a Single Contact, and choose Modify the specific contact. On the Exchange Tab, it says No Mail Properties Defined. How do I go about mail enabling the contact? I am running the professional version. Thanks.

How to reset Built-In HelpDesk Account Password
We can't login with the built-in helpdesk account. The password fails and\or is wrong. When I login with the built-in admin account (successfully), I can't find any where that I can change that helpdesk password. Online help only talks about how to change the password while logged into the account, which we can't get logged in with. There must be a way while logged in with the admin account to be able to change the other built-in accounts password.
Is it possible to exempt Automation tasks from the Notifications?
Currently when an automated task executes, it sends an email to the same group that receives notifications for all manual request executions. Is it possible to change this? Thanks, Daniel L.
Request to add features to the "Notification Rules"
Hello, The notification rules are a very important to an efficient workflow. Can y'all add some categories for Notification Rules such as "When Request is closed with an error" or some specific notification for when the Execute and Close actions are separated (anytime there is an error with one of the objects). Additionally, it would be very nice to be able to format the messages a lot more. They are difficult to read and don't contain the ability to format the emails very much. Thanks!
Select closest DC when making a change
As a global company with 40+ domain controllers spread across ~35 sites our field services personnel find that making a change to a user or computer account takes up to 20 minutes to be reflected locally. I'm assuming that is due to change taking place on the DC that is first in the list. The pushback from this group of locally based technicians along with other limitations we find in ME is forcing us to look at other products unless someone can tell us of a workaround. Not able to "add/remove columns" from reports after upgrade from 6300 to 6520
I recently upgraded AD Manager Plus from 6300 to 6520 and after the upgrade I can't Add or Remove any Columns to my reports. I can still move existing Attributes Up and Down. But not Add or Remove any Attributes. Are there settings that I have to do after the upgrade to have this working again? Ability to copy group membership to new users during user creation
I would like a way to populate a field (such as "CopyFromSamaccountname") in a csv that would create the new user with the same groups as the user specified. Currently it is very cumbersome to copy group membership from one user to another, for 30 users at a time. Thanks, Daniel

Create Single User issue
I have a helpdesk technician with all roles (except Super Admin) who is having a problem when attempting to create a new user. When selecting the Account tab, the password options are gray and he cannot change the default selection (Same as user logon name). This fails due to Password Complexity Requirements. The New User creation template that we have is configured to use either Random Password or Type a password. Why does the helpdesk technician not get the option to choose one of these?
Set Exchange Out of Office Reply for Daily, During Off-Work Hours
Is it possible to set an Exchange (Outlook) out of office reply for every day (M-F) from 5pm-7:59am? Can't add new/copy Technician
Hello, I am trying to create a new technician however when I enter the username in the "select AD user" field it returns no results. I click on the "choose" link and enter the username and it returns nothing. However, the user does exist and is included in a user report. One thing I noticed was that new users are not shown when trying to add as technician but older users can be added. Am I missing something obvious here? Any help will be much appreciated. Regards
Automate sending emails to distribution list members
