Getting error when making changes in ADManager Plus
I am getting the following error when trying to make any changes to AD using ADManager Plus. The error is [Exception in:/jsp/reports/ReportActionResultRows.jsp] null Has anybody come across this issue? Anybody know what the issue is and how to solve it.
Adding SMTP Address Setting Default
We are trying to add an SMTP email address and make it the default. Currently our default/primary is UserName@123.org and is bolded when view withing the Active Directory User object. Office Combo Box in ADManager Plus
Hi We're running AdManager Plus version 4.4.0 (4400). I've enter a heap of offices into the combo box (about 25). When you go to create a new user, you are only presented with the first 10 offices in the list. Can this be extended OR is the list limited to 10???? How can I fix this problem? Cheers David

ADManager Plus Audit Trail
Hi, We have been using ADAudit which is good as we can now see which people made which changes easily. Now we are evaluating ADManager but when we make changes to users with AD Manager, in ADAudit, the changes are not traced back to the actual user anymore, but instead only the account running AD Manager. Where can we get the audit trail of who did what using AD Manager?
scripts on successful user creation - parameter problem
We perform several tasks in a custom script after user creation. creating folders, setting ntfs-rights, sending emails,... problem: when creating a single user, the 'accountExpires'-attribute is not handed over to the script. using the "bulk user creation" however solves that issue. all other attributes (we used) work fine in both creation processes (bulk and single). I've not tried to find more AD-attributes that don't work, but here is the script-call: [...]\finish_user.bat %username% %sn% %givenName%

Speed up ADManager Plus
Has anyone discovered or come across anything to improve the lookup speeds of the ADManager Plus product? Seems to be very bulky and slow in our current install. Thanks!
Active Directory Auditing Requirements not satisifed
To comply with auditing requirements, we need to track (at real time) which delegated helpdesk user made changes in Active Directory via ADManager Plus. For changes directly in Active Directory, this is possible via the Security Event Log on the Domain Controller. However all operations undertaken by delegated helpdesk users have a "Caller User Name" in the Event Log of the host server on which ADManager Plus is installed and NOT of the helpdesk user who made the change. Can someone please explain

Error exporting report
Running ADManager Plus version 5 build 5031 on server 2008 R2 standard. When I go to export a report (no matter what format) I get the following error message. "Unable to download Report.do from local host. Unable to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later." Store Password using Reversible Encryption.
I'm currently testing out ADManager, and have hit a snag. When I select "Store password using reversible encryption" under the account properties, and set "Same as user logon name" under the password section. The Password is not actually stored using reversible encryption. The user is created, and the option is set in AD, but I get errors indicating that the password is not set using reversible encryption. User f0def15fb15b was denied access. Real Last Logon Report against a group has a limit???
I've been working with Support on an issue with our AD Manager Plus application for about a month or two now. Whenever we run the the Real Last Logon report against a group the results don't go over 1500 users when polling. I've tried various groups that have 2,000+ and 3,000+ user objects in it but it doesn't go over 1500 for that report when running it against a group. User Creation Thoughts
Currently with AD Manager, when creating a user with a template, you have the option of appending a number to the userid, but in my environment this doesn't work as I need so I think there needs to be a change to that process. Automatically append numbers from to avoid duplication not checked, but appends 3 to new accounts
The setting "Automatically append numbers from to avoid duplication" is not checked, however the last several users created using this Mailbox enable user template has appended a "3" to each of the new users mailbox account. The account works, but the user (nor the admins) knew that the mailbox name had a 3 appended to the exchange account until we discovered the problem. If the setting is not enable, is there another setting causing it? anyone else had this issue?

HR Delegation adding photo to users
I am hoping I can get HR delegation to add a photo to Active directory. I can't find a way of doing it through ADManager?? I don't care about bulk loading, just individual loading of photos. I know the user can do it through self service, but I don't want the user doing it. I want our security people or HR do do the upload. Hope you can help.

In AD Manager Plus is there any way to bulk upload photos to the jpegPhoto attribute that AD Self Service uses for the people search function? Deny ability to change certain passwords
I'm fairly new to AD Manager Plus having just purchased it within the last week. I love all of the features so far but have come across something i'm not sure I want helpdesk staff to have the ability to do. When allowing them to reset passwords, the software appears to let them change any password for any account on the system including the administrator account. Is the onoly solution to not have the administrator account or service accounts in an OU that they can access? If so, i'd like to see

Hello I use ADManager in a school and I miss a function to put users and computers into groups or folders in ADManager . If I have a folder for my class, I can change password or unlock all accounts fast and easy, no need to search. I do not mean AD groups. //Peter
