How to customize mail alert in OPManager
Hello, I would like to customize mail alert sent by OP Manager, mainly the link attached in the alert pointing to the server. At this moment in the link the URL is referring to the FQDN of the server where OP Manager is installed. I would like to change this link in order to reflect the URL customized for our monitoring tools by replacing the server name with URL customized, which should be great in case of server replacement with another name. Opmanager will not start
Hello, I'm running Opmanager on a virtual machine in a Hyper-v setup. Something caused the host that this Opmanager server is running on to get turned off. I restarted the server and it came up fine. Initially the Opmanager service appeared to launch correctly and be working. However a day later I began getting an error message basically stating it couldn't get the devices details for every device. I tried to stop the opmanager server and restart it to see if that would help. I also rebooted the
VM Disk Usage
When a server (VM) is discovered automatically after discovering an ESX host, there doesn't seem to be a way to see the disk usage on the local C drive, D drive, etc. After discovering a physical server for example, you can see the pie chart and run historical data for each of those local logical drives. Is there any way to monitor the VM using SNMP or WMI in addition to the VMWare aspect, in order to read report on that data?
Changing Subset of Interfaces to WAN Interfaces
I would like to change a few router interfaces in Opmanger version 11300 from Ethernet interfaces to WAN interfaces, so I can run the WAN interfaces report, but I am unable to do this under Admin / Interfaces Templates. I have seen the how to, which makes all Ethernet interfaces WAN interfaces via a change to the SQL WAN interfaces table. But I don't want all Ethernet interfaces to be WAN interfaces. Regards Bill

WMI Disk Monitoring
Hello everyone, I'm having some trouble setting up WMI disk monitoring for my virtual 2008 R2 server. I've added CPU and MEM monitoring and they work just fine, however when I click on add WMI disk Monitoring, it doesn't do anything... My credentials test pass for both SNMP and WMI, Any hint as to why, the disk monitoring isn't working?
Issue backing up a Cisco 5508 Wireless Controller
I have a Cisco 5508 Wireless Controller that I am trying to backup with NCM and it fails every time I run it. It appears to be issuing the 'show run-config' command when it should be 'show run-config commands'. I have created a new Show Command to correct this, but how do I tell it to use this command? Event 4771 - user account not in use
Hi there, I've already created a ticket but maybe sb. can answer my question here. Whenever I start the OpManager service I'm immediately receiving dozens of Audit failures on my Domain Controller. They are raised every 10 to 30 seconds :(.. What is mysterious about this, is the fact that the account causing the errors is not used by OpManager :/ I've checked all server creadentials but can't find an entry with the account. Hello, I just recently installed OpManager on a new Windows 2008R2 server. I am trying to bind OpManager to one specific IP address. I am stopping the OpManager service, making the changes in the tomcat server.xml file, then restarting the service. But when I restart the service, any changes I made are gone. I am running OpManager build 8811.

Hi, i have some things to ask. I remember from our webinar about Opmanager your specialist tell us that we can setup to alarms notification only one time. I mean if see more that one errors in event logs on Windows server that i have the same count of notification about this problem but i want to receive only one alarm. Can this done in Opmanager?
Disk utilization - wrong value after resized disk space
Hello, OpManager keeps sending alerts for disk utilization after we added more space to the affected partition. I tried "Update Status", "Rediscover" but it didn't help to refresh the new value. The only thing it helped was to delete and re-add the server to OpManager. Is this a kind of known issue or is there a quick way to refresh the new disk size? Thanks,

After adding in our Hyper-V Hosts, it is not detecting the VM clients on the host. It detects some of them (i.e 3 out of 9) but not all of them. Am I missing something that needs to be set up for the discovery? Thanks in advance!

What is the best database type to have for opmanager? We are currently running PostgreSQL and it runs sluggish at times but ultimately I want it to load faster. CentOS Server - No Interface Data
I am monitoring a CentOS 6 server which responds fine to SNMP requests for CPU Memory and also detects the Interfaces OK. I currently have a set of servers reporting the availability for the period "Last Month" during a time window "7:00 AM - 6:00 PM" My question is there a way to have it set to report only from 7am-6pm Monday-Saturday. I know there is a downtime scheduler I could set for Sunday, even though I dont want the availability report for that day I still want to know if an alarm goes off. We are using Opmanager to monitor some servers in a remote location over a VPN tunnel. This tunnel sometimes drops a couple of seconds which results in these servers getting a warning event 'One Poll Missed' and are being placed inactive for 5 minutes (until the next poll). Domain Controller ID Lock Issue
Hi, I am new here and is my first post regarding one issue that i am facing last couple of times on OPManager Product. In OPManager 9.x - Someone accidentally put our domain controller "Administrator" ID and i have searched around the whole product but couldn't get the information from the GUI. The problem is, on our domain controller they are getting alerts on the server to "lock down" the main ID (Event ID: 4740) hitting alerts by our OPmanager machine.
