OpManager service is not restarting
Hi, We have installed APM api in OpManager server. After installation OpManager service is not restarting. We have tried restarting the server also. Any help. Thanks. OpManager Plus functionality
Hi I was looking to purchase Network Configuration Manager for 25 devices, but have now seen that OpManager Plus edition is available and comes with 25 devices licensed. Please could you answer the following questions: Does OpManager Plus include all the functionality provided by NCM? We currently have a Firewall Analyzer installation, licensed for 7 devices. OpManager database connection lost and not being reestablished - MS SQL Server
Hi, We have found a number of occurrences recently where OpManager looses database connectivity to the MSSQL server that holds its database. The recommended sound player for the audible web alert is Quicktime. I don't want to use quicktime as Apple is ending support. Can anyone recommend an alternative player. I'm on Windows 7 and using IE11 Thanks

Issue in Probe to central sync

"Clear" Alert issue
I'm having an issue with the "Clear" status on our alerts For several servers notification profile, we have all options selected and it set to email out to specific groups responsible for fixing those servers when problems occur. We also have a reoccurring rule set to email them multiple times (up to 10 times) every 30 minutes until the problem is resolved. The problem is, once the issue is resolved, they don't get just one "clear" alert letting them know the issue is fixed. They get reoccurring

Close ticket in SDP

[OpManager v12] Is it possible to set a page refresh timer for the dashboard?
Hello, We recently installed OpManager v12. In v11.6 we were able to set how often the front page refreshed. I cannot seem to find that option in v12. Our issue is that we have OpManager setup to a large TV display in our office and it runs from an un-managed computer (no keyboard or mouse). But the page / alarms & events don't refresh! Which means our service desk cannot see if there are alarms that need to be looked at.

Hi, I wanted to know how much customization can be done with the software, for example I noticed that in the business view a custom icon can be assigned to the equipments, however in the device template it can't be done neither in the google maps view. OpManager 12 and quick config Windows credentials association
Hi, Just installed Opmanager version 12 and detected servers by connecting to vcenter which worked to a certain extent but when I try to use the quick configuration wizard to associate the newly discovered vm servers to windows credentials there is not any servers which I can associate. We are currently running 11600 in production but plan to move this into live ASAP. Regards Paul O

Hi, I have SD MSP and some opmanager probe in our customers network. I try to connect the probe at the SD in order to create a ticket. I correctly connect the probe at the SD MSP, but when I made an "notification log Profile" can not select Category or priority or technician. The probe aren't able to see these value. If I try to test the notification log profile the probe create correctly an ticket but not is classified. My probe version it's 11600 and SD MSP version it's 9005. I read in the web
Problem with adding a monitor
Dear sir/madam, A problem occurred whilst adding a monitor. In the adding monitor setting it only shows the first 50 options. As seen in the print screen there are 162 options. The option to show more and/or go to the next page is not available. Thanks in advance, Fares

Hi Team In my Company we have a problem because we have many servers with linux installed. The problem is when the administrators tried to check the memory utilization monitor and the monitor don´t show the same information that the server when they run a command. My question is Is it possible to change the command line in the memory utilization monitor or is possible to put a new monitor about memory utilization for the linux servers. OpManager Google Maps
Good day: How does one go about setting the default location for Google Maps (under Business Views) in OpManager? I get to where my devices are and if I shut down the browser and open the map again, I'm in Palo Alto, CA. I've found that whenever I click the "Return to last result" button (on top left of map) it also returns me to Palo Alto, CA. I would like that button to take me back to my "default" view, any one know how to do that? thanks, --rob
AIX Permission issue on a file from opmanager ssh script(script template) but accessible through putty with same credentials
Hi Team, I am working on a customized shell script for AIX machine. Where I am not able to access a certain log file through Script template , which shows permission denied. But when I try to access the same file using Putty with same credentials , I am able to access it. Please tell me , whether I have to ask for any special permission to access that ? AIX admin people recenly gave full permission to that log file. which is accessible through Putty session but not through the script template.

interfaces not discovered in Netflow Analyser
Hi, I'm working with OpManager version 12. the devices interfaces are discovered in OpManager but not in Netflow Analyser module. Whar are the possible reasons?
Output Discards on switch port does not update to reflect new status
I have a problem. Multiple switches are showing a polled value of something other then zero. For example, I had output errors in a port and it says last polled value is 3299. after making a switch change I cleared counters and that port is saying zero discards for the last several days. What do I need to do to have Opmanager reflect this. Removing the counters and re-adding does nothing and still is issuing alerts from old data. Suggestions???
Layer2 Map - how to delete entries
Hello everybody, I have some Layer2 map entries that i want to delete. These entries were generated after errors when i configure them. So they appear in the list of Layer 2 maps but point nowhere , with this error msg : Device mapping does not exist for this map I suppose this is a entry in the opmanager registry but i don't know where and how i can delete it. not able to disable threshold under OpManager version 12
Hi, I'm traying OpManager version 12 functionnalities but i have a problem with editing thresholds. In fact, i made few notifications profiles and i associated them to windows server 2012 r2 devices and i configured tresholds for test so i got notifications. The problem is that when i tried to edit thresholds to stop notifications i still have notifications and i couldn't delete thresholds neither by trying to modify the device template or by trying to modify this from the devices snapshot. Modifying Monitor Values in existing Monitors OID Error message
I am being alerted when my Domain Controller LDAP Client Sessions are too high. I am OK with the sessions and I would like to updated the threshold. When I attempt to update the threshold I get the followiing message and it won't save. Enter the SNMP OID, however this has been entered long ago, I a just want to modify the threshold. We are running OpManager 10100 (64 bit) Is this a bug/ known issue? I gave a specific example, however I do not seem to be able to change monitor threshold values.
