V12300 Dashboards
Since the upgrade to v12300 our dash boards are not displaying correctly on our wall board. As such some of the boards are displaying on two pages which is no good to us as we need them on one page. I think the reason maybe because the real time graphs are now displaying some stats below the graph? is there a way to switch this off? Also our business view is going onto two pages for some reason that we cant work out. We have also got the same issue of the CCTV views resetting themselves that we experienced
OpManager 12300, Server is not Collecting Data
Good afternoon I have attached a picture of two servers, exactly the same, except for the name, One is collecting data as requested and the other is not. I have identified at least two machines that this has been happening. If i manually run the request for data it will pull back that individual data but still no collecting of other data. I have rediscovered the machine, unmanaged and managed again and still not getting the data requested. I suspect that the schedule for the jobs is stuck for

Reclassify Alert
Hello, I feel like I'm missing something very basic here. How do you reclassify alerts? I'm trying to make it so that a device that misses 3 polls is marked as Critical rather than Trouble. I haven't found how to do it anywhere in the interface. I'm aware of how to modify thresholds on the device profiles to classify alerts generated through those, but not for 'Device Down' scenarios. Unable to add device - Not in inventory or search
I'm trying to add a device to OpManager. I can add it through Settings > Discovery > Add Device, but this does not allow me to attach rules to the discovery. When attempting to add via Settings > Discovery > Discovery > IP, I can associate rules, but the device is never added to the inventory. I've searched through the business views that it SHOULD have been associated with, as well as searching the inventory, but the device is never added. Please advise

Hi Guys, So i was setting up OpManager and i created a configuration to monitor 4 servers, The Alarms and Notifications coming from the servers should not be triggered Real time, The CPU as an example can spike up and down frequently so to avoid in a way the spam i would like the CPU alarm to be delayed or perhaps be checked a few times more before it sends me an email. so i have these two screenshots and what is the combination of these that would allow me this. Opmanager Performance monitors
Hi I currently have an issue with Opmanager (Build 12300) where as the performance monitors are not triggering, so even though (for example) a disk has reached its threshold, the monitor stays as normal and doesn't change to Violated, this then meaning no email is sent. When I run the test monitor it connects and pulls back the violated percentage, but it doesn't switch the threshold from Normal to Violated. Any suggestion would be really appreciated. I have deleted a server and re added it all back
Remove/Change thresholds on Application Monitor Templates?
Hi! I am trying to remove the thresholds on some of the application monitors templates (For example: Log Files Used Percentage) because they are unnecessary. I would prefer not to have to go to each individual server and make these changes, however I have to enter a positive integer for each value in the template I want to change. How do I remove/modify these values so they do not deploy with alarm thresholds? Thanks! -Chris
Upgraded from 11.6 to 12.2, custom hostname for Opmanager not working
I've just upgraded from 11.6 to 12.2 (Essentials) . I can log into the server using the actual hostname of the server. But can no longer connect using the custom host name. The SSL Cert (which matches the custom hostname) is still working, as can see it load with the local (incorrect) hostname. Even when connecting to the custom hostname, the cert loads and reports valid, but nothing else loads- no login screen. It seems like a host header entry is missing somewhere perhaps?
Impossibile to delete custom "Performance Monitor"
Hello everybody, I'm trying to migrate OpManager Build 11000 to the version Build 12300 into a new machine. Into the new version I'm trying to add some "Performance Monitors" and for some reason my new monitors don’t work. So, I want to delete my “Performance Monitors” that I’ve created but there is no way. How I can delete it? Another important point is that: if I try to edit my first monitor that I created (name is “DATAPROBE IN01”), in the edit box there is no data, no SNMP OID, etc… Any idea?

Has anyone tried doing reports using the SQL DB? The build in reports are not very useful nor very nice to look at. So I was wondering if anyone have tried pulling data from the DB to excel in order to get a better view of the data
Not collecting
OpManager seems to be working (page is up, db is on, services are running) but we can't see any movements on the console. Please advise if you have had a similar issue
File Monitoring
Hi, I need to monitor a specific file on a server to alert when it increases in size but I can't seem to find the correct option (I'm probably being silly). I can see an option to monitor a folder but not one for files (see attached). Can you assist?

I configure two traps one for Link up and one for Link down. In failure component of Link up I configure link down. First link down trap is generated then link up. Now the link down trap will be removed from active traps?

Reducing SNMPGET requests
We have an issue where we see TONS of snmp get requests from our probe. This was originally causing our events log to show thousands of events for interface up/down's each day. Though they were not critical, it made our Ops team numb to any events in the log, so we stopped going through them at all. I know.. Not a best practice!! So.. as I'm trying to tune out the alerts for up/down's on access ports (I think I finally figured that out!), I am seeing snmpget requests several times per minute. Polling
OpManager 12.3 Sorting Not Saving
Since upgrading from 12.2 to 12.3, it appears that devices, interfaces, alarms, etc all sort by Time by default. If I change this to Device Name, it defaults back to Time. When I click on something else and return to the page it is sorted by Time again. Is there a way to save the sorting?
Could I sent an alter for a device that lost 3 snmp response ?

Software that are going to be installed on this server are: OpManager (with OpUtils & Netflow analyzer) NCM ServiceDesk Plus Pro I was digging information about these products and found out only ServiceDesk supports Windows Server 2016. Problems with SNMPv2 on a device
I have a device that only has read credentials for SNMPv2. I can connect to the device from SNMPWalk and retrieve results, i can even use the MIB explorer tool in the bin directory and connect successfully, but when i try to run a performance monitor against an OID that I tested in both the MIB explorer and SNMPWalk, i get no value back. I get back a no data received message from the device. If I try using the MIBBrowser from the web GUI I get a message saying "Request failed or timed out. Error
SMS modems in virtualized environments
Hi At the moment we are using OpManager 11600 on a bare metal installation with a serial port attached GSM modem. We are planning on moving and upgrading to OpManager 12300 on a new virtualized server (most likely Hyper-V 2016), and then we will most likely have a problem with the serial port GSM modem and virtualized OpManager server. 4 Node Hyper-V Cluster Managed by System Center 2012 R2 Discovery
I am setting up OpManager 12.3 and I added a lot of VM's as devices, in other words i added them one at a time and used the DNS Name of the VM to add them to OpManager. Many of these VM's are running on a 4 node Hyper-V Cluster that is managed by System Center 2012 R2. What is the correct way to "discover" these hosts, VM's and the Cluster. Using Managed Service Accounts MSA's for WMI Server Monitoring
I would like to use a managed service account which was introduced in Server 2012 R2 for doing the WMI Scan's of my servers. Is there a way to configure this in OpManager? Currently I enter a credential in Credential Manager, so I'm not sure how I could use an MSA. If I use an account with permissions to scan the servers using WMI to run the Manage Engine OpManager Service would that accomplish the task? Exchange 2013 Hybrid Configuration Service Monitors
I have added an Exchange 2013 Server that is used in a Hybrid Configuration with the Office 365 cloud. All of our mailboxes are in the cloud, however we retain the hybrid since we are synchronizing our AD to the cloud and need to manage certain properties on prem. Alerting on Event Logs
Hi all, Is there a way to generate alerts on specific event logs from servers? Basically I would like Opman to generate alerts when event ID 21 or 22 are triggered (WSUS). Also, is there a way to configure it for all servers rather than having to do it for each server individually?
Trial OpUtils
We are currently testing three different rogue detection applications, one of them is OpUtils. I am trying to add a switch with correct IP address and Community String but it keeps reporting 'Undefined' and it the switch is not added. Is this a bug in the current Trial software or am I missing something? Thanks Kevin

Hi, I have installed OpManager v12 (downloaded August 10th) onto a VM in our environment for a trial. Straight off the bat, the first thing i wanted to configure was vCenter monitoring. We have 3 environments in this network, PROD (6 ScaleIO Nodes) - DEVTEST (8 ScaleIO Nodes) - DR (4 ScaleIO Nodes). They are all running ESX 6.0 and are all managed by VMWare vCenter appliances (Linux Based). When i attempt to add the PROD vCenter to the OpManager installation, it just errors out. They are on

Hi With the new 12.3 version there is another issue with reports of Opmanager We tried to export a bandwith usage report for one interface. If I use Chrome, there is no PDF file generated If I use Firefox then one file with 0 KB is generated. file name is : exportinfBWreport witjput any extension We need some help in this matter
At a glance Report in Opmanager 12.0
In previous versions of Opmanager we can export the At A Glance reports to PDF and even schedule this report. With version 12 we cannot find the way to schedule the At a Glance reports, and we cannot even export to PDF. Can someone advice us on how we can resolve this issue?
