cisco cat4849e buffer hits misread
Hi, There is a issue with the default medium and big buffer hits for cisco cat4948e. For instance a) OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.34.0 is assigned to the default monitor "Big Buffer Hits". Mib browser GET gives the real value while the monitor test responses with value "0". b) OID:: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.26.0 - "Medium Buffer Hits" monitor also gives 0 where #show buffers on the switch and mib browser both give n-value. Problem with monitoring a device
Hi, I'm needing help how to trobleshooting the monitoring system relation to devices. Any devices on my company has been monitoring. However, others hasn't. The devices that hasn't been monitoring, the SNMP service is running. However, the monitor didn't monitoring the servers. Reading the page - ManageEngine OpManager - Troubleshooting Guide, I persived the subtopic about SNMP problem and tried use the MIB browser under Opmanager folder. Anyone could help me? Alarm not clear after hitting rearm value
Hi, I received an alarm for Memory utilisation. I have rebooted the server, and the memory utilisation is reduced. It is also shown in the device snapshot screen - the Memory Utilization meter. But the alarm is not cleared, although it has reach the rearm value. May I know why? Thanks.
OpManager Instability
Hello! In my enterprise core, the OpManager has been suffering a instability when I try to connect a specific server monitored by its. I've logged in server itself. The connect is okay, but I don't know what test I can do to know and to solve this problem. - The log in system is okay, - the monitoring system is okay also, - only the web interface has suffering a little delay to stablish the page. AD group and business views
Hello. Can a business view be assigned to an AD group? A business view can be assigned to an AD user, but the problem is that the "Authorize AD Group Users" menu doesn't have this option. It's very inconvenient to add each user to the system and assign a business view to them, and also we don't want so that everyone could see all the servers and other monitored systems Build: 11100 Thank you.

HP ML350 G6 Hardware Monitoring
Hi, We have just installed OpManager to monitor our servers on our remote sites. We can see in the HP Home Page on each server that the HP Management Agents are installed and show all the information about the hardware such as RAID controllers, Physical Disks, Fans, Power Supplies etc. The SNMP community strings in the HP tools are set from the SNMP service on the server with the OpManager server as the Trap destination. However we can only see the Power supply, temp and Fans in the OpManager

OpManager doesn't start after installation
Hi all, Just tried to install the demo version of OpManager. Installation seems to be succesfull, no errors or anything else. But OpManager fails to start. I tried installing in through the One Click option and the Advanced option. Both with no luck. I'm installing it on a Windows 2008 R2 Server, with SQLExpress. Spercific WMI counters not working

Hi, Good Evening. I would like to perform ping test from a device to many other ip based device. Currently i could see ping test happens with only the devices which are added in the OpManager. But, as like URL Monitors under Admin page, i want to know whether OpManager has an option to add IP address to have a continues ping test and alert if it is not responding. Thanks in advance. Hello, Is it possible to create totally customized reports with Opmanager? I would like to have a daily report that contains certain traffic graphs from different (types) of devices as well as cpu usage and some custom graphs. It would be nice to be able to just select some graphs to display and type some header above it to explain the graph below.

Hi, The volume stats (volume size, available space...) that Opmanager pulls in for my netapp fas 3020c are completely wrong, completely different values than what the netapp device provides through the ssh command line. Can someone please advice. Perhaps there is a better compatible MIB that someone knows of. Thanks

We have deployed Office 365 with an SMTP Relay server. I cannot get the incoming mail settings to accept in ServiceDesk 8.0.0 Build 8009 There should be no auth needed for this server No combination of settings seem to work Please advise
SLA milestone notification are not received
Dear, We have an issue in the SLA milestone notification! I have configured customized SLA notification for response and resolution. But none of the assignees and owners receives the notification. could any body can help ,because we have issues in production environment . SLA 's are getting attached but when response time exceed to 50% ..user is not getting warning breached notification to their mails. Remedy ITSM 8.0 looking to hear from you in next future. Version 10100 - Hardware monitoring giving false positives
We're running version 10100 and we're noticing false positives on the hardware sensors. We rec'd a failed power supply alert this morning from opmanager for one of our VM Hosts and verified it was a false positive. Both p/s are green, the HP SIM and iLO status showing p/s running normally. Has anyone come across this error? Hey We have just had our OpManager converted from Essentials to Enterprise, and all the devices was stuck in the same probe. My co-admin, delete the probe server (Old essentials) this week :( How can I move the devices / rules and everything to a new probe ?
SBS 2003 cannot monitor AD and Exchange at same time
I'm using the free version right now, I can't seem to find a way to monitor both. Just trying this on an SBS 2003 server that holds all roles. Is there a way to get the Exchange AND AD monitoring to work? It seems like it is one or the other.

OpManager Upgrade to 11100 Problems
I recently upgraded to build 11100. I also upgraded the NetFlow Plug-in and the IPAM / SPM Plug-in. After the upgrade, I have many problems logging in using the AD pass through authentication using Google Chrome. I finally had it working for two hours and then it stopped working and tells me Invalid username and/or password.It does work with IE browser. workflow edit/add issue
Hi there, OpManager build: 10100 2 issues with regards to workflow: can't add workflow to an existing device the only way to add it is by creating new workflow on that particular device can't edit workflow to include other device pressing [save] after editing simply removed the added device(s) Are those known issues? I need a way to see all events recorded by a device in the device view, in a device view I can click "Show alarms" under "Actions" but I don't see traps. There is no way too see this as far as I know, please tell me where too find it or could you make a feature request for this. Thanks -Helgi

Hello, I've few questions about new hardware health features (Opmanager v10) and dial graphs : Hardware health tab We've got an HP Lefthand Storage array. This hardware is discovered as a Linux server and some hardware counters are not properly configured (see screenshot below : fan speed empty, power 0 watts,...) - how to modify these SNMP OID hardware sensors for this category ? - how to modify thresholds to create alarms on hardware sensors ? Editing Device Templates
Hi All, i would like to be able to edit the Windows Server 2008 device template. this template has auto assigned itself to our servers when they were discovered by Opmanager. i just need to enable the monitors which are default on this template - however i need to assign the template an OID? is there a simple way of editing the template without this as these servers are using WMI and not SNMP. im sure there is a simple way of editing the monitoring values. im new to this so any help would
Certificate Expiry Field and Custom Report, by Certificate Expiry Dates
Here is an easy to implement suggestion. I would like the option to add Certificate Expiries, to Server and Network devices, and be able to put thresholds based by their expiries, so that I could be notified in advance of that date, to obtain my renewal. I've created a custom field for Certs, with a date field, but that doesn't help me with monitoring it :-) which I would like to at 1 per day, and a threshold of 1 month or 2 weeks etc. Would be very useful with the number of certs which we manage.
OPM device needs manually set "Manage" after connectivity loss
Every time remote devices lose connectivity, we have to manually go to device page > Actions > Manage again. How can this setting be changed where we no longer need manual intervention?

10200 Removes Custom Toolbar
I had created a custom toolbar within the navigation menu of our 10100 build. It included links to all other web-based management tools available in our organization...made it easier for technicians to browse to the device management. After 10200 that's gone. Not a HUGE problem, but just FYI...not great.
Server List
Is there a way to get server list for a particular domain via IP range? I know I can do all computers then do a search for server but need to know if I can by IP range.
