Can the Linux linkAsService.sh please be changed for future releases to also add the start for the netflowanalyzer service when on runlevel 3. This is where I always run. It only adds it for runlevel 5.

Router : IOS (tm) 3600 Software (C3640-I-M), Version 12.2(2)T4, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3) netflow analyzer version 5 I configured all netflow commands as under interfaces ip cache flow Export destination ip net flow version 5 But I could not see netflow router on netflow interface client " saying no router currently exporting" Plz help what went wrong connectivity is ok, no firewall port problem

Different total bandwidth value
Hi all, when I look bandwidth values per application (for example for HTTP i have 261.01 MB - picture per_protocol.JPG) and then i click on application to see IP addresses (for HTTP i have bandwidth 102.19 MB - picture per_http.jpg) the compared values are not the same. Can you tell me why are these values different, and which value is correct. Thank you. Hrvoje
Sum of traffic
Guys, I'm evaluating NetFlow and I have one question that does not seem to difficult but I can't find an answer. How can I get the sum of the traffic in addition to in and out in a report? So the sum of the in and out bandwidth. This to see the utilization of a link without the need to add the two myself. Thanks!
No available "Last hour report" statistics

NFA not showing router in Dashboard View
I have installed and setup a 7200 series router to use the NFA for viewing and am not getting anything to come up on the dashboard viewer. All I get is the following message: No Router is currently exporting NetFlow packets to NetFlow Analyzer. Any ideas as to what is causing this. I have check my router and everything looks fine. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

not showing IN Traffic
Hi guys :) i'm using Netflow Ananlyzer 4, i've configured netflow on all interfaces in router, but on FastEthernet0/0 interface it's not showing any IN traffic OUT traffic is properly shown on Serial interfaces OUT its showing only icmp traffic. Netflow Analyzer auto shut down
Hi, I met a weird problem, which is my netflow analyzer will auto shut down. my OS is windows server 2003 R2. Actually, there are two different shut down situation, the first one is Analyzer suddenly can't catch any data. And status of interface show "down". The second one is all application is out of service. I can't even open netflow analyzer web interface from my IE. Please help me to figure if there is any compatible issue with Netflow Analyzer and Windows 2003 enterprise edition (with very clean

Change of the MySQL root password
Hello, after the installation of NFA 5.0 on linux the MySQL database is accessible with the username "root" with no password from everywhere. How can I require the root user to have a password without breaking NFA? Thanks for help RainHuber
Netflow Analyzer 5 wont recognize router
I have setup a cisco 2811 router to send netflow exports to the analyzer but the analyzer doesn't list the router. I used a packet sniffer to verify that the machine is receiving the packets on the correct port but the software still says "No Router is currently exporting NetFlow packets to NetFlow Analyzer."

I have added a router for NetFlow support, however, I have a need to monitor multiple interfaces. It appears that it is not possible. Is that true? If not, how do you go about accomplishing this? For instance, if I try to add multiple instances of ip flow-export source <interfacename>, it will retain the last entry I entered and overwrites the previous entry. Thanks, Dan
Configuring email alerts
I have been testing the Manage Engine netflow analyser. I am having problems getting the email function to work. When i do the test it just says "test failed". I have checked my mail server for possible anti relay and it is ok. Any ideas?All help would be appreicated. Nick.
Problems with other programs
I noticed that sometimes while I use the report window or alert windows, or something reffers to NFA other programs may work incorrect. For exampe: I ran NFA's report window and tried to open Excel document and it didn't open. It was nothing. But when I closed NFA's window the same Excel document open without problem. I had some problems with telnet program, ICQ, windows' find program, antivirus. Why is it take place ? P.S. OS - WinXP SP2, I have last Microsoft updates. NFA work as program, it isn't

Suggests about alerts and reports
Hi! I try using NFA to catch viruses (trojan programs) sending packets on different destinations by port 25 (smtp). I noticed that to view alert' report in details is very uncomfortable, because I can only see report and nothing more. I haven't possibilty to group information by categories (by source ip, by destination ip, by size). Only thing I can do is to sort by bytes or no of packet. Also, I wonder why there is not criteria by size of packets in Alert Profile Management. It would be good criteria

I use netflow on windows machine and collect traffic from router (freebsd), i use softflowd sensor. In main program windows i see only one interface on my router, but i use 50 subinterface. And summary traffic not equal traffic throuth router. Why?

When I have counted daily statistics with that which was displayed for the whole month there was a discrepancy. Mistakes were in days (but not in all days) on borders or a number of the periods granularity. In some days, when the period granularity became identical to all last month (more than 21 days, but less than last 90 days) the statistics on problem days HAS CHANGED also total

NFA database backup & restore
I am using 10 interface licensed version of NFA. I want to install NFA in different system and want to take the backup of existing database & restore. I want to know the procedure for database backup & restore procedure.
Copy database from Windows to Linux
Is there a way to copy the database from Windows to Linux. In fact I just want to get the IP groups and applications over but if I have to copy the entire database then so be it. It will just take much longer.
Strange messages in log

Netflow Analyzer & juniper device
I try to to test the netflow analyzer with my juniper device(J2300). So far, I can see the report but somehow the application not show correctly. All apps was mapped to TCP_App. If I take a look inside. I saw that there are a lot of strange port (ex: 18437, 36895). And from the src and dest I know that it's a LotusNotes traffic which the port is 1352 but it show 18437. Do you have any idea?
time/date of conversation
Is there a way to know what time the conversations took place on a per conversation basis? It seems that you can only know about conversations between spcific time.
Real time traffic data
Why is the data in the Traffic tab delayed by 10-20 minutes? I amtrying to look at real-time data.
